As our community grows, we’ve heard requests from members for a better way to participate in video meetings from mobile and engage with peers and facilitators while tracking one’s progress. In response, today we’re launching a new mobile and web video chat designed for Sidebar members that facilitates longer-term discussions and shows goals and progression. Key features include agenda tracking and persistent messaging — often missing from many one-size-fits-all video calling services. Our video meeting feature is made with ongoing collaboration and career development in mind.
What’s new:
- Better mobile meetings: Complete update to the mobile video chat experience on our iOS app, allowing members who join meetings from mobile to see the agenda tracker, message while you video chat in a meeting, and raise your hand. Soon, we’ll be rolling out more updates on mobile, including breakout rooms.
- New reactions: A new look and feel to the web video chat experience, including a new way to react to conversations using lasers and custom emojis.
- More of what you love: Within the new design, you’ll see beloved features more prominently like agenda themes highlighted at the top of the video and tracked throughout, and messages will continue to remain persistent for future reference.
