Gia Tate Villa

Gia is an educator, a facilitator, and a forever learner. 

With a passion for growth, limitlessness and authenticity, Gia has lead the development and implementation of dynamic training programs in the Non-profit & Tech sectors. She began her 10+ year career working in account management for some of the top Advertising Agencies in the world including McCann, 72&Sunny, and Droga5. Gia's previous clients have included COVERGIRL, Verizon, Smirnoff, and EmblemHealth. After advertising, Gia moved into education earning her Master's degree part-time while she worked in New York City schools. Gia was a middle school teacher, mutual aid organizer, and educational leader for years before transitioning into the Tech sector. As a global learning facilitator at Shopify, she crafted and facilitated engaging sessions that fostered growth, leadership development, inclusivity and trust for teams across the globe. Although she's no longer in the classroom, education is still her North Star and she believes the best teachers are never done learning, they use data and their community to constantly get better. She also worked in South Central Los Angeles as a trainer in the Non-Profit sector.

Gia lives to leverage her diverse lived experience to create the conditions for impactful live learning and growth for audiences 10-110. As a facilitator and a human, she's driven by a desire to empower others and craft spaces where individuals can thrive as their most authentic and constantly evolving version of themselves.

Gia lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband, and 2 beautiful cats. She loves to eat, travel, and rewatch her favorite movies in Spanish.
